Well Used Community Facility

The Matakawau recycling area for glass, paper and tins, built by Landcare and now operated by Council, is a superb community facility which is extremely well used.

We would love to extend the recycling area to include plastics but have yet to convince the authorities that this would be a good idea….. we will keep trying….
