Last year our Annual General Meeting was held on Monday 15th of June at the Matakawau Hall. One of the items on the agenda was a proposed change to our Constitution. This was instigated because the Charities Commission have stipulated all charities must adopt a new reporting format, commencing this financial year. As it has been many years since the first Constitution was adopted for Awhitu Peninsula Landcare, the Committee felt we should revisit the entire document to ensure it is still applicable to the community work we carry out.
